Lehigh Line Signal  Contributor's Pick!
This signal was orginally owned by the Lehigh Valley Railroad located on the CSX/NS/CSAO Lehigh Line in Hillside NJ behind the Firehouse but Shortly after the Conrail merger CSX and Norfolk Southern would have Conrail remove it. The Signal was razed in 2003 for good. This photo was taken a few years before its removal. Signal R132 and 132 are both giving Clear indications. This signal like the ones currently in use that replaced the one shown here do NOT SHUT OFF. Instead they reset to an approach indication Yellow over a red light when there is no train.
