Title:  Southern Secondary Approach Signal
Description:  The Only Signal remaining to date on the Conrail Southern Secondary is the approach Signal. This signal is used to tell the engineer of the SA31 whether to wait in Red Bank Yard or enter the North Jersey Coast Line.

Description:  Here is a Photo of A signal located in Carteret on The Chemical Coast Line. This signal is an approach signal despite you can't see the letter plates mounted lower on the signal pole. Does anyone know why the signal head on the right is turned away form the tracks and what is the approach signal for? The NJCL Maybe?

Lehigh Line Signal
Title:  Lehigh Line Signal
Description:  This signal was orginally owned by the Lehigh Valley Railroad located on the CSX/NS/CSAO Lehigh Line in Hillside NJ behind the Firehouse but Shortly after the Conrail merger CSX and Norfolk Southern would have Conrail remove it. The Signal was razed in 2003 for good. This photo was taken a few years before its removal. Signal R132 and 132 are both giving Clear indications. This signal like the ones currently in use that replaced the one shown here do NOT SHUT OFF. Instead they reset to an approach indication Yellow over a red light when there is no train.

Oceanport Creek Swing Bridge Signals
Title:  Oceanport Creek Swing Bridge Signals
Description:  These singals located at Mile Marker 20 on the North Jersey Coast Line in Oceanport are used for the swing bridge. These signals go off for northbound trains as soon as the train gets off of the brdige but remain lit for the southbound trains as part of NJ Transit's Automatic Block Signaling system.
